The original concept was developed with the acquisition of my wives property just next to her ansestral house in andiambalma. 3kms away from Bandaranayake International Airport. This lush greenery land with abundance of coconut , cashew and many other mixed plantation initially .
Let me get on to the story . The name Gerv’s derived through my wives birth name Gervaise . Obviously it is something to do with …skilled and spear and originating from France and we were also considering the fact that it was another way to call dairy or milk / cheddar
Incidentally my granny who was Brenda Gerace ( Means Divine sanity)had her origins from …Ireland and She was into hospitality industry 5 decades ago starting from Camp Hotel Diyatalawa, Strags Hotel galle , kings Hotel kandy to name a few.
Currently my family owns Walawwa Home Rest in Uhumiya, Kurunegala, and Walawwa Forest in Narammala
At Gervs we have a scenic , green soothing view and feel, is more authentic and natural. In the midst of hustle n buzzle in the town , you are transformed to a quiet surrounding with rich village heritage .
